In 1990, our founder, Shigemi Kawahara, entered the Hall of Fame for winning the the ramen competition of the show, "TV Champion" three consecutive times. Then in 2005, he gained the title "Noodle King" after coming in 1st in the "Largest Ramen Competition in History to Decide the Noodle King". In 2008, our first store outside of Japan was opened in New York. Now, we have stores in London, Paris, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Sydney, and in other countries all around the world, totaling 60 stores. Ippudo is the force driving the global ramen fever. We innovate and build the "global standard of ramen shops" all over the world by ensuring not only our delicious tasting ramen but also our great service and atmosphere. Good place for ramen and gyoza. Nice ambience with friendly staff with english menu. There are 3 types of ramen on the menu. Had the spicy Dan Dan ramen, you can choose spice level. (4 spice level was quite spicy)

Broth is super rich and tasty. Noodles are nice and chewy

Delicious Ramen with a creamy broth that leaves you wanting more. The Gyoza are great too! Service is very friendly and attentive. English menu available. Really liked the complimentary iced Roiboos tea as well. Would definitely recommend.

Thick and yummy ramen for a very reasonable price.

Simple menu specialising in tasty tonkotsu ramen. Very fast and friendly service. The menu is in English and a waiter who spoke English was sent to me. It's a good place to dine alone or with a group of 4-6 people. A little expensive for the "special" version of the ramen.

This is a very popular ramen shop and it was filled with lots of people enjoying their lunch from students, business people and tourists. The ramen here is tasty, though not the best I have ever had. We chose the original ramen so maybe the spicy has more punch. The pork was a bit too fatty for me. the service was good and English menus are available. Clean bathrooms and facilities.

Make sure to put toppings on your ramen! It only comes with pork, green onion, and some kikurage mushrooms. Egg and anything else you want is on the side. They have English menus here too!

Good hearty ramen with delicious broth. They also had free flow bean sprouts and picked vegetables as sides. Had the lunch set menu (+ gyoza & rice) all for 935 yen - great value!

Absolutely fantastic place. The food is delicious, staff very friendly and speaks English. The foos was ready very quickly, was tasty and came as a big portion. especially the broth was amazing. We also loved the fried rolls as a side.

Fantastic Ramen. Order the Akamura modern special (extra pork slices and egg). Beer on the side, it's all you'll need.

Really delicious Ramen, showcasing both classic and more modern flairs. Broth is tonkatsu (pork bone marrow) base, which is in my opinion the most flavorful. Mini gyoza were also very tasty. Portions are generous and there is also the option for kaedama (extra helping of noodles) for very cheap.

Speedy, cozy, and great tasting ramen. A nice option for ramen in the area.

We were hesitant to bring our 1.5 year old here but decided to risk it because ramen. We were pleasantly surprised that they had both kids seats and high chairs. We snagged the corner booth where our toddler could play while we ate. The tonkotsu was very good. Creamy and delicious. The noodles are thin and you get to choose how cooked you want them. We were starving and this place hit the spot. Gyoza and the other side dish we ordered were meh. Stick to the ramen.

Delicious ramen and gyoza, casual family friendly kind of place. Seems rare in Japan to find a place with a baby high chair with a strap and this place had one!

Unexpected but really good ramen. The dumplings are excellent too. Do not hesitate to ask for the big portion.

Delicious gyosas and ramen - ippudo karaka is sooo good!. There is an english menu explaining all the dishes, which is rare in Japan. Staff is nice and helpful. Service is quick.

Had a white and a red hakata ramen & a half fried rice. Tonkotsu based soup (pork bones based) with veggies and comes with 2 slices of chashyu or pork loin. Ramen is very thin. Incredibly good taste, attentive service and good prices. If you want a good ramen this is place to go to.

My favorite bowl of ramen in japan so far! Must go! Dumplings and vegetables side were also so delicious!

The winter ramen is outstanding. Deep and complex in flavour. The spicy tantanmen is also good. The spot as such is big and queue disappears relatively quickly. Definitely worth visiting!

Tasty ramen and gyoza. Three large tables and plenty of counter seating. Service was quick as the place was not very busy on a Tuesday at 5.

Nice place, speciality is ramen and there are not vegetarian options but you can order the rice and some toppings and you get a nice veggie meal. Menu in English and staff is extremely nice and helpful.

This place is run very well - everyone communicates with each other and the food comes out fast. There was a decent line when we arrived during lunchtime. I give 4-stars because I thought the flavor was pretty good but not mind-blowing, probably wouldn't come back, but it was good at the time. Thanks!

i ordered tonkotsu special set. the flavour of the soup was thick and rich. the meat was well cooked and flavorful. egg was done perfectly. noodle was cooked just right texture. you can choose the texture you want. price was good also. gyoza was a bit too oily for my liking but it was rich in taste, would be better if it's fried more crispy on the surface.

Delicious as always. Great value. You can get a refill of noodles to have in your leftover soup for ¥130 (or ¥90 for the smaller portion). The Veges side dish (¥200) is quite generous (can share between 2 people) and tasty. English menu available. Recommend you try the Ippudo Karaka.

Amazing Ramen! Both Tonkotsu and Miso broths hakata style were very tasty. Gyoza was also very good!

Absolutely 5 stars to this Ippudo outlet. The female staff that attended to us could converse with us well in English. The fried rice was really tasty. Noodle portions were big with 4 pieces of pork chashu and 2 dumplings. Very satisfying meal. Will come back again!

I had recently arrived in Kanazawa via bus and was feeling ravenous for some ramen. Lucky me!! i found this gem of a place. The wait staff were vibrant and served me with free ice tea. The English menu was easy to order off and my meal arrived soon after. The ramen broth was thick, it was served with plenty of pork and thin noodles. To my joy the ramen had a soft boiled egg and some seaweed as well. The entire bowl was delicious. It is a tad expensive, but if you need to quench your thirst/hunger for ramen it is well worth the money spent. I also ordered a large plate of gyoza. Each individual gyoza was 2/3 the size of a normal gyoza but these were also delicious. Overall a fun and yummy experiance!

Very friendly staff that welcomes you at the entrance with a smile and shows you yours sitting place. Tasty ramen and hakata dumplings. Wide selection of spices that you can add to dish yourself. Water included. Nice looking and children friendly place. They accept credit cards.

Discovered Ippudo in Osaka and fell in love after having tonkotsu. Upon arrival in Kanazawa, we found this Ippudo tucked away off the main dori. Had to try the Karaka Ramen with an added onsen tamago. Be sure to ask for kaedama (extra noodles) if you’re loving it as much as I was. Staff super friendly towards English speaking guests and they will happily allow you to bring your baby and give them a cute Anpanman dinner set to use!

Very good ramen, although not originated from this region. Definitely a good choice for some food late into the night.
